This is a great quadcopter for beginners. The Force one Red Heron have durable build that would allow new pilots to crash at will, as they learn the ropes. Beginner pilots and experts alike will enjoy flying the Red Heron. Here are my Pros and Cons to for this quadcopter.

Bad news first the Cons: The drone is really lite in the butt! The Red Heron cannot be flown in mid to strong wind, don't even try on a breezy day. Now this in my only Con but it is a big one. The ability to keep this thing in the air is impossible doing slight breeze.

Now my Pros: I love that it comes with two batteries, the box says 15 mins of flight but I got around 11-12 doing my test. The controller stole the show for me, the template that label each function is a welcome sign for beginners. The controller is also very ergonomics and user friendly. Some of the controller features are one button take off and land, headless mode and a unique trimming option. The quadcopter camera has a real lens on it, none of those pinhole cameras over here. The Camera performs slightly better than some I used in the past. This drone shines when you fly it in indoors, it flows effortless through the air and when you get out of range it have a built in alarm. Overall I gave the drone 4 stars would have been five but it sucks in the wind!
