DIY AT HOME - Sweepstakes Marketing and Me - Part 3 ###

[ad_1]

So, now you've gotten your prize item picked out, and it is something that people really want. How are we going to get people to find our store among the millions of people that are selling or scamming people using that very same item? It's actually really simple. Internet statistics will help you find out how to get your item noticed. In a study made by companies WebVisible and Nielsen in 2007, 74% of their test group stated that they use a search engine to find local businesses and items online. The majority of people do not even consider going on to two two of the search engine results page. So, if you want a chance at getting noticed, you need to find someone on the first page of the search engine results. How are you going to do that overnight?

The easiest, timeliest, and cheapest way to do that is to offer your item on a sweepstakes marketing website on the first page. If you type in the word "sweepstakes" into your search engine of choice, several websites will pop up. If you place your sweepstakes on one of these websites, not only will you be a part of a highly-visited website, but they will also send notices to their registered sweepstakes participants, informing them of new items and companies being added on. The marketing and promotion gets done automatically. Once you pay the website, the advertising gets done for you. It's incredible!

So, to conclude this article series, I would like to briefly touch on the benefits of this form of advertising. First, it's much cheaper than getting radio announcers or newspapers to help you sell. That means more money in pocket for other important business activities. Second, it's easy to maintain. Websites are really light-weight, and they can be as simple or as complex as you want them to be. Third, once you're on a sweepstakes website, the advertising gets done for you. Emails and notifications are sent out to people pursuing the items that you offer. That equates to your company name getting passed around (in a good way), which translates to conversions. Sweepstakes marketing can really help you out!

If you want to check out the other parts of this series, either check out my author profile or use the name of this article in a search engine, minus the "part 3". Good Luck !!!

[ad_1] Being with my feet on the sales ground for 25 years in IT, I can recommend that many steps in the sales process need to be discussed and agreed internally and with the business customer to come to an agreed and signed contract. Following this sales process through a so called 'Sales Close Plan', describes all the necessary milestones that need to be agreed from a resource perspective, internally from a supplier perspective as well as from the business customer resource perspective. If each milestone is finalized confirm this in email to your customer so all expectations and potential road blocks keeps transparent and visible to you as supplier and business customer. 1.
